I would like to know the amendments to the new labor law from you?

Several articles in the new labor law have been amended. Here are the key amendments related to employees:

 

  • Resignation is considered accepted within 30 days if no response is provided by the employer.

 

  • The employer may extend this period to 60 days if there are written reasons provided to the employee.

 

  • The employer and employee may agree on compensatory days off instead of monetary compensation for overtime work.

 

  • If the employer decides to terminate the contract, the notice period is 60 days.

 

  • An additional 3 days of leave is granted to the employee in case of the death of a sibling “brother or sister”

According to Article 4 of the Judicial Costs System, if the court decides to dismiss the case, rules that it is considered as if it never existed, or rejects it for not being properly filed, additional judicial costs are imposed if the case is reviewed again. These additional costs amount to 25% of the costs of the case’s initial review, and the plaintiff is responsible for these additional costs, even if the ruling is in their favor regarding the subject matter of the case
